CFDs are leveraged products with a substantial risk of loss. This course outline and its examples are general education, with no live trade calls or personalised recommendations.

01 / The learning path

Before the trade,
the foundations.

Each planned module pairs a recorded lesson with a practical exercise. The recordings are in preparation; an optional written, interactive quote-reading example is available now.

This is the course outline, not an unlocked member library or an MT5 setup guide. Expand a module to explore its planned outcome and practice exercise.

Set up MT5 & a demo account

Installation · broker and server · demo workspace

Find the appropriate MT5 installation, identify the broker and server, and distinguish a demo account from a live account. Learn where to find Market Watch, charts, and the Toolbox before placing an order.

Practice: Set up a demo workspace and record its broker, server, account type, and base currency. Use a demo environment; this planned exercise does not require live funding.

Read quotes & contract specifications

Symbols · bid and ask · units and contract size

Understand what a quoted symbol represents, distinguish bid from ask, and find contract size, price digits, trading hours, and other instrument details. Gold is one worked example after these basics.

Practice: Read an illustrative quote and calculate its spread. Check the instrument's units and specifications before relating that price difference to a position cost.

Optional quote-reading example

Understand costs & broker compensation

Spread · markup · commission · overnight financing

Understand the cost before you accept the offer. Distinguish the quoted spread from any disclosed additional markup, separate trading commissions from overnight financing, and learn how IB compensation arrangements can vary.

Practice: Compare hypothetical account terms for the same instrument, position size, and market conditions. Record the stated charges and referral relationship; a wide spread alone does not reveal why it is wide.

Read the cost introduction

Position size, margin & risk

Exposure · potential loss · contract assumptions

Distinguish the margin needed to open a position from the amount you could lose. Understand how quantity, price movement, leverage, and costs affect a hypothetical outcome.

Practice: Compare two demo position sizes using stated contract assumptions. Explain a loss scenario and the relevant costs before considering an entry.

Demo orders & chart context

Order types · execution · historical scenarios

Follow a demo order from entry to close, then connect the order record to its historical chart context. Recognise that execution prices can differ from expectations and that charts leave uncertainty.

Practice: Place and close a demo position, review its order record, and write two plausible scenarios for a historical chart. Explain why a stop order is not a universal guarantee of an exact exit price.

Journal & review

Decision records · costs · process reflection

Record the reason for a demo decision, its stated exposure and costs, the outcome, and the limitations of the example. Review losing and winning outcomes using the same questions.

Practice: Complete a demo journal entry and identify one process change to test. A profitable example alone does not establish a reliable strategy.

02 / The planned member experience

A verified referral.
A funded account.

The planned full-course access condition is an eligible, funded account attributed to MiexD’s Switch Markets referral, with both attribution and funding verified through broker records. View the broker referral details ↗.

Enrollment is closed. Clicking the referral, registering, or funding a broker account does not currently unlock Academy lessons. Recordings and the member platform are in preparation; the public quote-reading example stays free.

  1. Eligibility is confirmed first.

Available to eligible clients only. Availability depends on your country, the applicable Switch Markets entity, and local requirements. Review the broker availability information before registering.

  2. Broker records establish the referral.

Registration and successful funding must be verified against broker records. A link click, screenshot, or claimed referral is not enough.

  3. Access is reviewed manually.

When the member platform exists and enrollment opens, an administrator will review eligibility before granting course access. This public preview cannot grant or check membership.

Commission disclosure. MiexD receives commissions based on eligible trading volume from referred clients. That creates a financial incentive for clients to trade. The referral details and disclosure are available on the Markets overview. Academy access terms will be published before enrollment opens.

03 / Learning notes

Use the context.

Contract specifications and account protections vary. Learn the relevant terms rather than assuming every platform works the same way.

Does this course include live signals or copy trading?

No. The initial course is planned around recorded educational lessons, demo exercises, and general chart reviews. Signals, copy trading, and other investing services are not currently offered.

Can demo practice predict my live results?

No. Demo conditions can differ from live execution, costs, liquidity, and the experience of risking real money. Completing lessons or demo exercises does not establish that trading is suitable for you or that future results will be profitable.
